Brief Profile
Dr Hense completed a PhD from Queensland University of Technology, Australia and completed two masters programmes in hospital management and public health from India and Australia respectively. While doing his Master of Public Health he completed two international internship with the ThaiHealth Promotion Foundation in Bangkok and World Vision Foundation in Metro Manila. He specializes in hospital management and public health and keep interest to research in the areas of health workforce retention and motivation, utilizing qualitative methodological approach. His other areas of interest includes; health and project management, hospital administration, IT in Healthcare, migration studies of health care professionals. He is an recipient of the prestigious Australia Endeavour Award for a PhD offered by the Govt. of Australia in 2011 and bestowed with the Trusted Metro award by the Office of the Australian High Commission in New Delhi.
