Brief Profile
Dr. Sandeep K obtained his Master’s Degree from Govt. College Kasaragod (Kannur University) in 2004 and Ph.D. from Mangalore University in 2011. He is the first rank holder in B.Sc. and M.Sc. Geology. He qualified CSIR-UGC NET in Earth Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences in 2003 and joined as Junior Research Fellow followed by Senior Research Fellow in Mangalore University. He also has the experience of working as Geologist in Geological Survey of India during 2011-12. He had been working as Assistant Professor in Govt. College Kasaragod (Kannur University) and Govt. College of Engineering Kannur from 2012 to 2016. He joined Central University of Kerala in 2016 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology, School of Earth Science Systems.He is a Fellow of Geological Society of India. He was awarded International internship on Teaching-Learning and Research at Durham University, United Kingdom by Fostering Linkages between Academic Innovation and Research (FLAIR), New Initiatives in Higher Education, Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala.
