Brief Profile
Dr. Shalini M. is an Assistant Professor at the Department of English and Comparative Literature, Central University of Kerala. She received her research degrees MPhil and PhD from the University of Hyderabad. She worked at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain for a year as a research fellow before joining the Central University of Kerala. She has participated as a delegate in the London Critical Theory School in July 2013. Her areas of specialisation are Comparative Literature, Women’s and Gender Studies. She has participated in many national and international conferences and presented papers. She has guest-edited the Women's Journal Samyuktha's Special Issue on Early Women’s Magazines in Malayalam.
