Brief Profile
Reinhart Philip is Assistant Professor at the Department of International Relations, Central University of Kerala.
A recipient of UGC Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in Political Science 2015, Reinhart did his B.A and M.A Degree in Political Science from the University of Kerala with Silver Medal and Gold Medal respectively; and M. Phil Degree in Politics and International Studies from the Pondicherry Central University with Gold Medal. He took his Doctoral Degree in Political Science on the topic “Globalisation, State and Commodification of Water: A Study of Jalanidhi Project in Kerala” from the University of Kerala with UGC Junior Research Fellowship. Having a consistently brilliant academic record since his school days, he is having additional masters in Public Administration (with UGC-NET) and Sociology, and a Diploma in English Journalism. He is the author of Water Governance in Kerala (2015); co-author of Higher Bureaucracy and Social Change (2014) and is the author of more than 30 research papers, edited volumes and essays. He is the recipient of various national level scholarships, best paper presentation awards and winner of many national level essay competitions.
