Brief Profile
Dr. Yash Paul Sharma is a faculty in the Department of Education, Central University of Kerala under ITEP (Integrated Teacher Education Programme) where he is teaching Zoology. A myrmecologist by profession, Dr. Sharma has discovered new species of Ants from Himalayan region with other co-workers and published his research work in International and National journal impact factors and citations.
Prior to joining the CU Kerala, Dr. Sharma worked with Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), NCERT, New Delhi in various ambitious projects of Ministry of Education, Government of India and NCERT like the development of National ICT Curriculum, National Repository of Open Educational Resources (NROER), SWAYAM MOOCs and PMeVidya. Dr. Sharma has done lot of innovation research in STEM education and awarded for his innovative work in Augmented and Virtual Reality for Science education at National Level.
Dr. Sharma has been part of the various high-level meeting and events like managing the PM Pariksha Pe Charcha, National Kala Utsav, National Yoga Olympiad etc. He has delivered key note addresses in International Conferences and has conducted about 250 sessions for Faculty Development Programs and conferences in various Universities/SCERTs/SIEs and other institutes across the country.
