Dr. Jayasudha J. S. has more than 26 years of teaching experience. She joined as Professor in the Department of Computer Science in Central University of Kerala at Kasargod on 1st February 2023. In Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, she joined as Lecturer on 22nd November 1996 and promoted as Asst. Professor on 1st March 2006 (re-designated as Associate Professor), then re-designated as Professor (non-cadre) with effect from 1-3-2009 and promoted as cadre Professor with effect from 27th February 2013. She held the duty of full additional charge of Principal  of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering from 16th January 2021 to 21st October 2021, 4th March 2016 to 18th April 2017 and  2nd June 2010 to 5th March 2011. She also served there as Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering from 7th May 2009 to 1st September 2015 and Dean (Academic, R&D) from 10th June 2016 to 31st January 2023. During her tenure as Principal in-charge, Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering  received National Young Leadership award (NYLP) and Best NSS unit Award in the state during the year 2016 and Best NSS unit Award under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University during the year 2021. She has received the best paper award for presenting a paper in an international conference. She has organized many community development programmes, short term courses, faculty development programmes and conferences. She received her B. E. degree from Madurai Kamaraj University and M. E. degree from National Institute of Technology, Trichy and Doctorate degree from University of Kerala. She is recognized as an approved research guide in APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University and supervises three Ph.D. research scholars. She is also supervising four students in Annamalai University as Co-Guide. Four students have successfully obtained their Ph.D. degree under her guidance. She has published her research works in many reputed Journals and conferences.
