Academic Background:
Prof. (Dr) Manu is a distinguished academician and scholar with a remarkable career spanning over three decades. He holds a Master's degree in Hindi, M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Calicut University. He has also obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Gandhi and Peace Studies and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Malayalam-Hindi Translation from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Additionally, he has qualified M.A. in English and holds Post-Graduate Diplomas in Translation, Tourism Management, Public Relations and Adult and continuing Education . Furthermore, he has pursued M.A. in Urdu from Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, and is currently pursuing M.A. in Sociology from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu.

Teaching Experience:
Prof. (Dr) Manu boasts a rich teaching experience of over 34 years, having served in various capacities before joining the Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod. He began his career as a Lecturer in Hindi at Mahatma Gandhi Government Arts College, Mahe, under the Union Territory of Pondicherry in 1988. After 11 years of teaching, he joined the University of Kalady in 1999 and served for 23 years. In November 2022, he joined the Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, as a Professor of Hindi.

Administrative Experience:
Prof. (Dr) Manu has also held various administrative positions, including NSS Officer for 5 years at M.G. Government Arts College, Mahe, and worked as an Adult Education Officer. He has been actively involved in academic and administrative activities, demonstrating his commitment to the growth and development of the institution.

Resource Person:
Prof. (Dr) Manu has served as a resource person and subject expert for the Public Service Commission, Government of Kerala, on multiple occasions. His expertise and knowledge have been sought after by the commission to ensure the selection of qualified candidates for various positions. Additionally, he was nominated as the Governor's nominee at Calicut University, reflecting his stature and reputation in the academic community.

Research and Publications:
Prof. Dr. Manu is a prolific researcher and writer, with over 30 research papers and more than 15 UGC-CARE articles to his credit. He has participated in over 110 seminars, including UGC-sponsored ones. He has authored four original books, and his poems are part of the postgraduate syllabus in various universities, including Kannur University, Govt. Brennen College, Central University of Kerala (ITEP and PG syllabus), and Kuvempu University, Karnataka. He has also written songs for Delhi Doordarshan and has been a regular presence on All India Radio, Calicut, presenting his own poetry for over 37 years.

Research Guidance:
Prof. (Dr) Manu has supervised six Ph.D. scholars at Sree Sankaracharya University and Kannur University. He has also guided six M.Phil. scholars at Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras, and Madurai Kamaraj University. Additionally, he served as a RAC member for Urdu at Kalady University.

Awards and Recognition:
Prof. (Dr) Manu has received several awards and recognitions for his contributions to academia and literature. Some notable awards include the State Bank of Travancore (Kerala) Award and the National Youth Festival Award from the Government of India. He has also won several prizes for his Hindi and English dramas at Kerala Literature Festivals and Bharat Utsav, organized by the Ministry of Social Welfare and Sports, Government of India, New Delhi. He is a multilingual poet and lyricist, with his songs broadcast on Delhi Doordarshan.

Other Achievements:
Prof. (Dr) Manu had been a member of the Advisory Committee for Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ministry of Social Welfare and Sports, Government of India, New Delhi. He is serving as an Official Language Member for the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, & O L member of Ministry of Mines, Government of India, New Delhi. Currently, he is working as a  Dean at the School of Language and Literature, Kannur University, He is the Professor & Head of Hindi Department of  Central University of Kerala, Kasargod With a total experience of 37 years, Prof. Dr. Manu continues to make significant contributions to academia and literature.
