Brief Profile
Dr. Govinda Rao Duddukuri is currently employed as Professor at Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Central University of Kerala (CUK), Kasaragod, Kerala, India. His research lab at CUK works on inflammation, immunomodulation and cancer and epigenetics. He has finished his Master's degree from Andhra University and has completed his PhD from Department of Biochemistry, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He has worked as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in GITAM University (deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam from 2001 to 2016. He has received best teacher as well as best researcher awards from GITAM University in 2015 and 2016 respectively. He has published 45 national and international publications and his lab has nearly 35 peer reviewed abstracts published in National, International symposiums and conferences. He has guided several PhDs and MSc students. He joined Central University of Kerala in 2016 as professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and served as Head of the department during 2016-2019 and as Dean for School of Biological Sciences, during 2019-2022 and as Director of Research in Central University of Kerala. Presently He is serving as Dean, School of Medicine and Public health.
