Dr. B. MUTHU PANDIAN joined Central University of Kerala in August 2022 as an Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce & International Business, School of Business Studies. Prior to his present position, he worked as Assistant Professor in Commerce, Sikkim (Central) University, Gangtok, Sikkim (East). He holds his M. Com (Financial and Investment Management) and M.Phil. (Commerce) in the field of “Consumer Attitude and Behavior” from Madurai Kamaraj University. In addition to that he has MBA (Finance), PG Diploma in Statistics and Research Methods and PG Diploma in Computer Application from Pondicherry University and also cleared UGC NET Commerce (Jun - 2011), & Management (Dec - 2012). Currently pursuing M.Sc. (Psychology) through DDE, Alagappa University, Karaikudi. 

Dr. BM Pandian doctoral research work in the field of “Exotic Derivatives” the title of “Infusing Efficiency in Real Estate Capital Market (A Conceptual Model for Online Property Spot & Index Based Derivatives Exchange)” from Pondicherry University. The whole conceptual model of his doctoral research outcome (Online Property Spot Exchange [OPSE] & Online Property Derivatives Exchange [OPDE]) is the status of Patent Pending. He presently working on his Post-Doctoral research proposal on the title of “The Role and Application of Block Chain Technology for Infusing Transparency in Indian Real Estate Market” .His core area of academic interest includes, Finance & Computer Application and his thrust area of research on “Banking & Financial Markets”. He has rich hands-on experience in the domain of Financial Markets, Computer Applications in Business & Research, Financial Modelling and Data Analytics.

Dr. BM Pandian  has published More than 14 research articles in many of reputed national and international journals with UGC Care List and Scopus and also presented and published more than 18 research papers in the various national and international conferences proceedings and edited volumes with ISBN. He also participated in more than 20 Workshops, Training Programs, and FDP in the field of Computer Application, Research Methodology and Data Analysis. In addition to that, he also acts as a resource person for more than 40 invited talks to the various reputed colleges & universities in the field of Computer Application in Business and Research, Financial Modelling and Data Analytics. Above all he also acts as corporate trainer for MS - Excel & Tally Prime for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Research DIY [Do it Yourself]  Program for Budding Researchers as a freelancer.
