Dr. Binoy T. A. presently working as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Tourism Studies, Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, has obtained his graduation in Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Travel Management from University of Calicut, Kerala and Master of Tourism Administration from APS University Rewa Madhya Pradesh with second rank. He has cleared UGC NET in Tourism and Management in December 2000. He has obtained his PhD from Kuvempu University, Shimoga, Karnataka.  He has twenty-two years of teaching experience in graduation and post-graduate courses in tourism at various Universities. Before joining to Central University of Kerala, he was working as Associate Professor and Chairman, Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Tourism Administration, Kuvempu University, Shimoga, Karnataka (July, 2006-July, 2022) and Head of the Department of Tourism, St. Peter’s College, Kolencherry, Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam (July 2003-July, 2006) and GPM Government College, Manjeshwar (June 2001-July, 2003). He has served as Board of Studies Chairman and Member in tourism studies in many prestigious Universities across India. He has organized many national and international conferences as convener.  He has published 38 research articles in various reputed journals and presented 46 research papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences. He has chaired many technical sessions of National and International Conferences and also been invited as keynote speaker and resource person in many national and international conferences. He has completed two minor research projects and one collaborative project in tourism.  He has produced four PhDs. He has been served as Consultative Committee Member for curriculum design for MBA (TTM) of Central University of Kerala and Central University of Andra Pardesh, Ananthpur.
