Brief Profile
Jeyabalan Sangeetha, earned her BSc in Microbiology and PhD in Environmental Sciences from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. She holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. She is the recipient of the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship of University Grants Commission, Government of India, for her doctoral studies. She is the recipient of Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship and Women Postdoctoral Fellowship under University Grants Commission. She has also awarded with DST FAST TRACK Young Scientist by DST, New Delhi. She has conferred with many national and international awards for her contribution in teaching and research. She has published more than 35 research and review articles in reputed and International journals and 75 book chapters in the fields of environmental microbiology, environmental biotechnology, environmental toxicology, environmental nanotechnology and bioresources. She has authored and edited 14 books which are published by International publishers such as Springer, CRC Press and Apple Academic Press. She has visited 8 countries to participate and give talks on various topics related to her research with funding from GoI and funding agencies from abroad.
