Dr. Joseph T.J. is a PhD from Madras School of Economics, Anna University, Chennai, on the topic “Foreign Direct Investment, Technological Capability, and Productivity of Indian Manufacturing Industry after Liberalization”. He has eighteen years of teaching and research experience in a variety of subjects including Industrial Economics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Econometrics. Prior to joining Central University of Kerala, he was an Associate Professor in the School of Business, Alliance University, Bangalore. Dr. Joseph has completed Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Icfai University, Hyderabad and worked there as an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean. He has also worked as Economic Analyst at the Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai. He has published several research papers in journals of national and international repute and edited books. He has supervised 6 M.Phil. students worked in diverse fields. Four scholars have completed their Ph.D. thesis in the areas related to industrial and international economics under his supervision.
