Mastering SPSS Data Analysis, Publication Strategies, and Ethical Compliance

The Department of Yoga Studies, School of Medicine and Public Health, Central University of Kerala, conducted a two-day national workshop titled “Mastering SPSS Data Analysis, Publication Strategies, and Ethical Compliance” on 28th and 29th January 2025 at the Nilagiri Guest House Conference Hall in hybrid mode.

With 95 participants (45 offline and 50 online), the workshop aimed to strengthen research methodology skills. The inaugural session featured addresses by Prof. Mathew George, Dean, School of Medicine and Public Health and Prof. Vincent Mathew, Vice-Chancellor (i/c), emphasizing research ethics and publishing standards.

Day one focused on SPSS-based statistical analysis, led by Dr. Dhanalakshmi from Ethiraj College, Chennai. Day two covered manuscript writing and research ethics, with sessions by Dr. Sunil Kumar Tiwari and Dr. Elezebeth Mathews.

The workshop concluded with a valedictory address by Prof. (Dr.) Alagu Manickavelu, Director, IQAC, who highlighted the importance of ethical and data-driven research. The event ended with certificate distribution and the National Anthem.

Participants appreciated the hands-on sessions and expert insights, making it a valuable initiative for enhancing research competencies.
